When you embark on an ATV adventure with Showdown ATV, you're signing up for a thrilling, unforgettable journey across the wild terrains of Central Florida. As we strive to make your ATV experience safe, exciting, and unique, here's everything you need to know about what to expect when you join us.
Checking In and Choosing Your ATV
Your adventure begins at our check-in desk, where our friendly and professional staff members are ready to assist you. Showdown ATV specializes in 1 & 2 Seater Rentals, catering to both solo riders and those who prefer company. All our rentals are self-guided, which allows you to set your pace and direction, with freedom to explore as you wish.

After check-in, you'll choose your ATV. Each machine is rated for either single or double passenger use, keeping within the legal requirements. It's essential to abide by these rules as park rangers may issue citations for overloading vehicles.
Safety Orientation and Training
Safety is our top priority. Before you set out, we provide a comprehensive orientation and training session on how to operate the ATV safely. This session is mandatory for all our riders, from the seasoned experts to the first-timers. If you desire, one of our staff can accompany you on the trail at no extra cost – a great option if you're worried about navigating the expansive trail.
The Trail
Your adventure takes place at the Withlacoochee State Park, also known as Croom. A popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts, Croom boasts a 2,600-acre dirt bike and ATV trail, offering a diverse landscape for you to conquer. Be prepared for a wild ride!
What To Bring and Wear
While we provide all the necessary safety equipment – helmet, goggles, gloves – feel free to bring your own if you prefer. For clothing, it's recommended to wear long pants or jeans and a long-sleeved shirt to protect your skin from any stray branches. However, this is not a requirement.

The only clothing requirement we strictly enforce is closed-toe shoes, preferably sneakers. A backpack with water and other essentials is a good idea, especially during warmer months.
Weather Conditions
We operate under most weather conditions, but for your safety, we will not launch if there's a 70% or higher chance of thunderstorms. Should a thunderstorm start while you're on a ride, we require all machines to be brought in until it stops. If a cancellation is necessary due to weather, we're happy to reschedule.
Cancellations and Security Deposits
We understand that plans change, so we offer a 72-hour cancellation policy for a full refund. If you cancel within this period, we will honor a voucher for you to use in the future. Please note that a security deposit is not usually required unless the ATV was rented with one of our promotional coupons.
Age Requirements
You must be 21 years or older to rent our vehicles. However, we welcome riders as young as 12, provided they receive the necessary training. Bring the whole family along for an amazing trail ride!
